Messages from Mars: Astrology you can understand for the week of January 21st-27th

How is that Sun in Aquarius treating you?! The start of the week brought double air energy, so it’s been super sociable on my end. Im leaning into how we can do more of that in an Aquarian way. Honestly, it feels like a lot of us are talking more about how to support each other on and off screens- or maybe I’m just in the right circles (probably both!).
Here’s the dirty lowdown on the astrology for the week. I did the work so you dont have to!
January 21st
The Sun, our source of vitality, is sitting at the same damn table as Pluto (death, rebirth, and general “everything must change” vibes). It's a weird lunch scene in the fever dream of a movie we've been living- this is a psychological overhaul. This is also our first real day of Pluto in Aquarius energy. Aquarius = science, tech, and collective awareness, so this is the perfect time for breakthroughs that help the whole damn planet. Regenerative farming tech? Forest-saving solutions? Hell yes, let’s manifest that shit!
January 23rd
Today’s trine energy is pure Jupiter vibes—expansion, flow, and all that good shit. It’s perfect for working with circulatory herbs or, hell, even aphrodisiacs (yes, I make a libido boosting tincture). Personally, I’m all about alternative herbs like cleavers—they work magic to move junk out of your system and make room for better oxygen flow. Oh, and if you don’t feel like making your own, my Alacer tincture is back in stock and ready to give your circulatory system a little love.
January 26th
Starting the 26th, Uranus is cranking up its signature electric energy, and you’ll feel it in the nerves connected to the spinal column. This planet doesn’t tiptoe—it jolts, awakens, and shakes you out of complacency. Physically, this might show up as tension or a sudden awareness of your posture and spinal health. On a deeper level, Uranus is the master of breakthroughs, so while your body might feel the buzz, your mind could be running a mile a minute with fresh ideas. For balance back in your body, lean into herbs that soothe and ground the nervous system—like skullcap (focusing on your muscles) and passionflower (dedicated to nervous system realignment).
January 27th
On the 27th, the Moon is hanging out in Capricorn, which rules over the skin and brings a cold, dry vibe. At the same time, it’s squaring Mars in Leo, which is all about heat and dryness. Basically, your skin might be screaming for hydration—and let’s not forget about your colon, because Capricorn energy loves to dry things out there, too. This combo could bring eczema flare-ups, tattoo healing gone sideways, or even dry bowels. Capricorn isn’t great at retaining moisture, especially when Mars is throwing heat into the mix, so focus on herbs that soothe and hydrate from the inside out. Think Burdock root, Licorice Root, or Marshmallow root—any moistening allies that calm the gut and, in turn, support the skin are great. If you’re feeling dried out, address it at the source, because healthy digestion equals glowing skin.
